Jake and The Neverland Pirates
Fun at home party on a budget!
- Here is Jack excited about his Jake party! He wore a Jake shirt i bought for $2 on clearance at Sears a long time ago.
- Jake and the Neverland Pirate theme table setting found at Wal-Mart.
- The Beach Pails with shovel~ Target $1 section
- The large bucket~Easter Basket clearance find
- The signs~ construction party written with crayon( Don't waste printer paper and ink when you can just make it!)
- Pretzels for "Planks"
- Goldfish for "Catch-o-the- Day"
- Saved money on printer paper and ink by making my own signs with scrap paper
- Rolos and Hershey's for "Pirate's Booty" (treasure)
- Whoppers for "Cannon Balls"
The Jake Cake~
- chocolate cake with white icing and red decorating icing.
- I used the wrapping from a toy I bought. I cut it out to make scenery.
Then Jack decided to decorate it his own way with his new characters. :)
I set up a table with Pirate treasure for the guests. I bought a party pack at Walmart, gold necklaces $1, gold coins $!.
As guests arrived we had a cannon ball fight. (I don't have a good picture). We blew up balloons and shot them across towards each others. (Held them and pulled back the tie part to "shoot it")
Pirate Ship Ring toss: Bought at Goodwill months ago for under$5
Crocodile ring toss: bought at Wal-Mart for under $5
Walking the Plank!
I laid down a blue blanket I already had for "water". I used a board I already had for a plank.
I thought about setting them up on crates to be off of the ground, but this way was just as fun for the little guy.
There it is ~simple!
Fun doesn't have to cost a lot!
