Grocery Cart ~ $ 71.97 plus gifts

Posted by Holly Nelson on Friday, April 23, 2010 Under: Grocery Cart Challenge Friday
I only spent $71.97 out of our money to buy groceries at Aldi. But, I did receive 2 gift cards to Kroger from our church that equalled $100.00! And what a blessing that was. A grocery gift card is one of the best gift cards you could give my family! I do not normally shop at Kroger, unless I can get good deals with coupons on things we like. But5, I went to Kroger and bought things I normally couldn't buy at Aldi, yet will help finish out my meal planning for the next few weeks.. I did not take pictures of that food or save the list.

 I bought things like:
1. cereals
2. meats
3. cheez -its, my other food group...:)
4. snacks
5. drinks
6. dog/cat food
7. frozen veggies
8. breads
9. salads
10. desserts

Because I was able to spend the same amount I usually would, I will not have to go grocery shopping next week. There will be no post for Grocery Cart Challenge next week.
