Date Night

Posted by Holly Nelson on Friday, March 6, 2009
Jeff and I are going to see Legally Blonde at the Orheum tonight. For our tenth anniversary I wanted to get a special gift for him. He is very hard to buy for! He always says he doesn't want anything, but I have to get him something! One day I heard him say something about how we need a date night and it clicked. Its hard for him to plan dates for me. Being a man he feels like he should plan special things for his wife. So I decided to help him out. I got Orpheum season passes, plus a few more shows. This way this is a gift that keeps on giving. Okay, I can't say the Orpheum things was all my idea at first. A few year before he gave me season passes for me for Christmas. One Christmas he even bought me the dress I was eyeing in the Banana Republic store window to go with the passes! He paid attention and he knows thats my favorite store! What a hubby! All this to say, I would highly recommend a date night with your spouse at least every month! And you don't have to spend a lot of money! I have a section on my site about cheap , but "heartful" ( my word for- "from the heart") thing to do for a date night.  And If you decide to get Orpheum season passes, see you in the nose-bleed section on Friday night! Remember it's the "heart" that counts!
