Bacon-n-Cheese Chicken Sandwiches

Posted by Holly Nelson on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 Under: Tummy Yummy Recipe of the Week
This was supposed to be yesterday! I got ahead of myself on the Valentines post!
This recipe came from The Pioneer Woman. It's Marlboro Man's second favorite sandwich. You can check hers out. For now, here's mine.

Bacon-n-Cheese Chicken Sandwiches:
peppered bacon, cut into thirds before frying
chicken breasts, flattened
lemon pepper
colby cheese
hamburger buns

1. Fry the bacon, drain on paper towels or paper bag.
2. Leave a little bit of the grease in the pan.
3. Sprinkle lemon pepper on both sides of chicken
4. Pan sear the chicken, 4 minutes on both sides, until done.
5. Top with bacon slices, then colby slices. Let melt
6. Put on hamburger bun.
    ~Thats it! So Yummy!!

Everything but the lemon pepper and chicken

Cook chicken on one side until the edges turn white. Turn and cook the other side
 Don't forget the lemon pepper!!

Top with peppered bacon

Top with colby cheese, then melt

Place on a bun. You can put mayo or mustard on it.
Then serve with homemade fries/potato wedges.

Enjoy!
