It's a BOYS Life!

My motto for boys~ "If they aren't dirty, they aren't having fun!".....But this time they were having "fun" in my flower bed!

Another Motto of mine for boys~ "WEAR them out!" before they wear you out!

Pack as many as you can in the pool, then sit back and enjoy the joy they experience.

And if you try to get in to enjoy some time for yourself, they will all come at you like piranhas!

Take them bowling..a.k.a. "wear them out!" I love how Noah is teaching Luke how to do it and it's both of their fir...

I know it is already October and I should have done this early last month. Life has been a little busy...
Soccer...soccer...soccer...I had three in soccer and most of my time was dealing with school, cleaning, cooking, and soccer!

Steamed Carrots~ Baby Food

Steamed Carrots~ Baby Food
1 bag fresh baby or petite carrots
1 1/2 cup water
electric steamer/microwave steamer/stovetop steamer

1. Steam carrots until tender
2. Put into blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Add water if needed
3. Pour into ice cube trays or tiny plastic ziploc bowls.
4. Wrap trays and freeze until use.

I steamed my carrots in my microwave steamer because my electric steamer broke. I feel like the microwave takes nutrients out of the food, so I try not to do that often...

Apple Pear Buckle

1-2 can apple pie filling*

1-2 can pears in light syrup*

1 box yellow cake mix

1 stick of unsalted butter

1 packet Maple and Brown Sugar instant oats

Cinnamon

cooking spray

8 paper towels

Spray inside of crock pot. Fill with apple pie filling and pears. (cut up the pears into bite size pieces) Add 1 tsp almond extract. Stir together. Pour the entire box of dry cake mix over the top of the fruity mixture. Do Not stir. The cake mix will absorb the juices from the fruit mixture. Cut s...

15 Minutes is All it Takes to Bless your Family!

Kitchen/Dining Room:
M~ clean top of fridge*
T~ detail clean tables and chairs
W~ clean vent-a-hood (use degreaser)
T~ detail clean out fridge
F~ detail sweep and mop

* Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the cleaned top of the fridge. The next time you need to clean the top, just replace plastic wrap!

When you are finished for the week, add fresh flowers or a new candle!

I haven't been watching my spending lately. We have been dirt biking on the weekend which requires picnic foods. And I have just bought junk. really, no excuses....
I have no pictures this week, either. I have just been so busy. I am a stay at home mom that never gets to stay at home. And I am running out the door in a minute!

I was still under our budgeted amount of $150.00, which is great for our family of 8. But, I am still disappointed because my goal is still $75- $100. It's just too hard...
