Last weekend we stayed home all weekend, except for church. We are not used to staying at home all weekend. I love to go-go-go. I'm not a homebody. I blame it on my ADHD. But it rained the soccer games out and I was coming down with an illness. Everyday the kids ask "Can we go dirtbiking?". You mean Mud Biking? And that day was no exception, they still wanted to ride in the rain and mud. We explained to them if they rode they would have to clean their bikes when they were done. That didn't discourage them. I think boys are just attracted to dirt and mud. They love it! I wish I could have captured a picture of what they all looked like! They don't have plastic covers on their helmets, so the mud splashed right on their faces and in their mouth. In the picture Ryan's gloves are on the ground. They are supposed to be white and red gloves! They had a blast in the mud! Raising boys is a very active job. (I really don't like calling it job, it's more of a relationship) Sometimes I joke, "Why can't they just sit and color butterflies and horses like my nieces?" They are so much calmer! But boys are boys, and boys should be boys. And I know and God knows I hate to be bored. They keep me well entertained!
